The Minotaur-Project represents a transformational work in Biodanza. Its methodology offers us access to our identity and a more abundant life by means of overcoming inner blocks. The labyrinth is an archetypical metaphor for our existence with its pathways and bends symbolizing the doubts and mysteries along our path of life.

In Greek myth, the Minotaur is a creature with a human body and a bull's head;in Biodanza, it symbolizes the wild and intuitive aspect, which lives as an elementary power within us. Our inner Minotaur is deeply wounded by cultural impacts. Our intuitive roots and power are encaptured by cultural anxieties. The objective of the Minotaur project is to re-establish contact with this elementary power, to free our inner Minotaur, to accept it and to cherish its beauty and strength. Our fear of this power reveals by various anxieties in every day life. By means of individual rituals we meet our anxieties and experience their transformation into courage. The encounter with our own life's crisis leads us to existential liberation. The Minotaur Project requires basic experience in Biodanza.
